- Kebab – Preferably mixed, but doner kebab will do.
- Chicken Tikka Masala – In a tray from takeaway scooped up with a keema naan.
- Pizza – If you can find a pizza hut that stays open late enough.
- Chicken Chow Mein - Plus a bottle of soy sauce to splash over it, then put in pocket and find in the morning (usually with a leaking top)
- Battered Sausage and chips – From chip caravan as a last resort.
- Cornish Pasty from 24hr garage – Quick browse through the mags whilst waiting for the microwave to ping.
- Lump of cheese from out the fridge – Cut the horrible dry bit off first, put to one side, but then eat when you’ve finished the good bit.
- Kids sandwiches – Which wife had prepared earlier in the evening ready for the next days school packed lunch.
- Yoghurt from right at the back of the fridge – It may be 2 weeks out of date but at least it gives you something to blame when you feel ill in the morning.
- Scrapings out of pan on the hob – No idea what it is, but it tastes OK.
