Chrome Towel Rail Radiators
After putting it off for a couple of years my wife has finally had enough and sent me out hunting for a new Bathroom Suite and some Chrome Towel Rail Radiators.
I found a very helpful Plumber in Kent who specialises in bathroom fitting, both classic and contemporary. He has a very useful section on his websites explaining technical issues and what to look out for when buying a new suite, which icludes a nice section about the different types of baths;
- Cast Acrylic Baths
- Whirlpool Baths
- Spa Baths
- Porcelain Enamelled Steel Baths
- Enamelled Cast Iron Baths
It also has a nice section explaining about wall and floor tiling, WC installation, Shower installation, Radiator installation etc.

Pollen Count highest since records began
Scientist at Waddington University are warning that the pollen count could reach record levels in 2oo8. Hay fever sufferers and asthma sufferers are being advised to take their medication earlier this year, ensure they always have back up supplies and to stay indoors as much as possible.
Global warming is being sited as a major contribution as contintal type weather patterns are becoming the nom and new grasses like Poaceae, Gramineae, Juncaceae taking over from our more common varieties.
Hayfever injection Treatment
A new hayfever injection treatment is due to be announced in early spring 2008 which promises to end the missery of thousands of hayfever sufferers throughout the UK.
Josh Brock, an ear, nose and throat specialist at Waddington Hospital claims A ground breaking discovery in immunotherapy treatment had been kept a close secret since Autumn 2006 because the major drug companies were not prepared to fund further research.
It is now believed that pressure from campaigners and the fear of whistle blowers may have forced their hands and secret talks have led to the Hayfever injection treatment, which involves de-sensitising sufferers by injecting them with a combination of grass pollen, antihistamines, Pastinaca sativa and Tetrahydrocannabinol, being given top priority.
Clinical trials are said to be going extremely well with over 97% of those tested reporting that no drowsiness or general lethargy was felt, and discomfort was eased considerably.
A small group in the clinical trials were given an LD50 of Phencyclidine or a placebo, with over 60% of these saying they felt no better.
Further information will be published here shortly.

Business Forums
I recently compiled a list of what I consider to be the top 10 business forums in the UK. Whilst visiting one of them today I was made aware of a new business forum that had just started, so went and had a look.
From an initial look A1 Business Forums has the hallmark of being a major contender. Despite being in its infancy, it already appears to have a wealth of knowlegable members, and all appear not to mind helping each other out.
It has always been my belief that the only way to succede in online marketing and search engine optimisation is to adopt a “You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” philosophy. This new business forum appears to have members with that same mind set, and appears to be well worth a visit
New PC coming next week
I ordered my new PC on Friday, a non branded system from the same local store as where my previous 3 have come from.
Pricing a similar system up online came to about 15% cheaper, but I don’t mind paying the extra to support the local store and also because of the reliability of previous systems and the knowledge that if I do have any problems they will put it right quickly.
I only ordered a base unit and decided to stick with my existing monitors, keyboard, mouse and speakers.
They gave me the option of sticking with XP, but I decided to opt for Vista and also went for an OEM version of Office 2007 Professional and talked them in to throwing in a free Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0
I’ve backed everything up on this system and have trimmed down to a bare minimum what I will transfer over, the plan then is to use this system predomiantly for storage and just have it set up so it is there when I need it.
