SEO Packages

Although I’ve been doing SEO for about 7 years now I’ve rarely done any for anybody else and never really advertised my services. Despite this, I am often contacted and asked to help people or asked if I can optimise peoples sites.

With this in mind I decided to set up a site with informatiion about a range of SEO Packages that I can provide on a limited basis.

The main idea of the packages is to provide a SEO service to small businesses, home based businesses, start ups, etc. and to give them an initial low cost review and then advise them whether it is even worth paying SEO fees.

Basically, I want them to avoid the pitfalls of signing up to a contract with unscrupolous SEO companies who may promise a good optimisation service when in reality the market is too competitive already, or I will advise them on the basics so they can do the majority of optimising themselves with just a little help as theyy go along.

SEO Courses UK

3229 will soon be providing SEO Courses at various venues throughout the UK.

The SEO Courses come in 3 classes; beginer, intermediate and expert and have a maximum of 20 attendees or are also available as bespoke packages for up to 5 attendees or even on a one to one basis.

Christmas Message 2008

If you want to attract a large number of visitors to a specific site simply add an events section.

Base the content around an event you know will happen and that lots of people are interested in, optimise the page for the rellevant phrase, and time it so your site ranks high in the main search engines results and also in the blog search on the days leading up to the event.

Aperfect example of this is  my Christmas Message 2008 page, and my main Queens Christmas Speech page.

Loft Ladders in Durham

I recently set up a page for a company that provides Loft Ladders in Durham and surrounding areas.

It’s just a very simple page; provides a brief description of the service they provide, their contact details and a link through to their own website.

It also appears in their county section, their town section and their category section.

This is a perfect example of one of the upgrade options provided by my Business Directory site.

Marketing Advice

I decided tonight that rather than just make my new blog a business news site I would try to just concentrate on making it a blog offering Marketing Advice.

I removed 3 or 4 categories, edited some posts, deleted some posts and created some new categories soecifically for Offline Marketing, Online Marketing, Advertising Tips and Search Engine Optimisation.

I haven’t made many posts yet, but hopefuly, over the next week ot two will try to get the site more established and hopefully become a good resource for small business owners looking for tips on cheap advertising and improving their online presence.

Seo Translation

For the past 2 months at least I have been receiving spam from a company offering an SEO Translation service.

The email always starts with them saying My site can’t be found in google.jp and other versions of google and then go on to offer an SEO Translation service.

The fact my site only targets UK users appears to go over their head.

Stratford-upon-Avon Business Directory

I had the intention of spending a couple of hours today tidying up my Stratford-upon-Avon Business Directory today, but as I started I decided to break it up a bit, and created a general Stratford-upon-Avon Directory where my business directory, was and moved the business direcory to a new page.

I also added new sections for guest houses, estate agents, restaurants and hotels, added a number of useful local links and also links to nearby locations.

Cheap Advertising – Online Advertising

With the credit crunch taking more effect and recession looming, many small businesses who have never had to advertise before are suddenly in the position of having to find cheap advertising.

This is especialy true for tradesmen like; bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians etc. where as in recent years they have had work coming out of their ears and have had no need to advertise, all of a sudden the work has dried up and advertising is looking like the way to get what little work is out there.

The smarter amongst these tradesmen have soon realised that cheap online advertising could be their lifeline as long as it is cost effective and provides a good return of investment.

Some are suckered in to paying extortionate prices for adverts using the old fashioned models, others are leeched upon by the many online marketing/ advertising companies that appear everywhere now, and some take the smart option of researching first and only taking out cost effective advertising which soon pays for itself.

One such form of cheap, cost effective advertising is that provided by the UK Small Business Directory. Owned and run by just one person, you won’t be ripped of by unscrupulous commission led sales staff and you won’t be hassled to upgrade your listing to something you don’t want.

Portable Wheelchair Ramps

I finally got around to tidying up my portable wheelchair ramps website today and also added a range of lightweight ramps from what may be a new supplier.

I have been speaking to this new supplier for at least 18 months and kept promising I would give their ramps ago, but until this weekend just hadn’t found the time.

The reason I found the time today was primarily because earlier in the week they sent me a nice info pack, an up to date trade price list, but more important than anything else, they sent me a disc of nice images of portable wheelchair ramps for me to use.

It always makes things a lot easier when supliers provide nice images, and often just gives me the spur to do things that I have been putting off.
