Lorem Ipsum Copyright Claim

An ex professor from Sapienza University of Rome is threatening to turn the world of website designers, printers and typesetters upside down by claiming the copyright of Lorem ipsum.

Professor Maxilanus Vitrioli claims to have found 15th century manuscript that name his far distance relative as the original creator of Lorem ipsum, and also claims to have discovered a second document that he claims grants his relative and subsequent surviving relatives full intellectual property rights.

Experts are now saying that if both ducuments can be authenticated Professor Vitrioli (the last living relative), could be sitting on a potential goldmine. They go on to say, that any person, business or governing body found to be using more than 450 characters of Lorem ipsum in any one block of text could potentialy face litigation and claims of copyright abuse from Professor Vitrioli.

Other experts claim, not only will Professor Vitrioli have a very strong case against anyone using Lorem ipsum from the day of judgement, he will also be able to backdate all claims to the date when he first went public with his claims.

“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Incidentally, the above Lorem ipsum has 447 characters ;o)

Just in case Professor Vitrioli or his legal team read this.

Charlie Chaplin Lookalike

I had someone contact me today who provides entertainment as a Charlie Chaplin lookalike.

I went to have a look at his website www.arightcharlie.co.uk and was amazed at just how good his act was, not only does he look like Charlie Chaplin, he also has his mannerisms down to a tee.

It got me thinking about getting a job for my wife, quite often she is mistaken for the Emma Chambers character in The Vicar of Dibley, Alice Tinker unfortunately she isn’t just mistaken for her by her looks, but also her mannerisms and her scattyness too.

Castle Quay Shopping Centre Banbury

I took my daughter to her aunties in Adderbury this morning and being only a couple of miles from Banbury decided to nip in and do a bit of shopping whilst I was there.

Despite only being about 15 miles from Banbury, I seldom go there, and when I do, it is usually just to the out of town stores.

Being a Sunday, with less traffic on the road (and less people in the shops) I decided to brave it and have a drive in to the center.

First nice surprise was a nice easy to use car park, Castle Quay Parking North, next was a pleasant short distance walk to the main entrance of the Castle Quay Shopping Centre and the final nice surprise was the quality of the place and the number of nice shops it has.

I’ve never been much of a shopper and tend to just stick to familiar places where I feel comfortable, but the beauty of Castle Quay is it has all the nice familiar places like; M&S, Debenhams, Next, GAP, Boots, Bhs, Waterstone’s, Woolworths etc. It also has a nice range of Jewellery shops, shoe shops, sports shops, games shops, book shops, gifts shops, food outlets and much more.

All the staff seem pleasant, the centre is nice, clean and spacious and generaly has a nice atmosphere. Looks like I have found somewhere to do my Christmas shopping this year.
